Glee cast all'Ellen Show - Personaggi e cast

Prima di sentirli cantare la loro melodia finale, Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Jenna Ushkowitz, Chord Overstreet e Darren Criss saranno da Ellen giovedì 12 marzo per discutere gli episodi finali di Glee! La commedia musicale ha costruito molte fondamenta per la storia della televisione, affrontando importanti questioni sociali, introducendo personaggi unici e creando ogni sorta di storia d'amore, amicizia e drama sfruttando il successo di un'orecchiabile colonna sonora! Lo show ha avuto un immenso successo per sei stagioni e ora il cast rifletterà sui ricordi passati, parlerà delle nuove opportunità lavorative e, soprattutto, si unirà ad Ellen per una sfida!

Trama
Dopo che le Nuove Direzione vincono alle Nazionali, il sovrintendente Harris rende il McKinley una scuola per le arti e nomina Will preside. Ben consapevoli delle implicazioni disastrose se il nuovo supergruppo New Directions / Warblers non riuscisse a battere i Vocal Adrenaline alle Provinciali, le lotte interne tra i gleeks iniziano a farsi sentire sul morale, spingendo i due ballerini più deboli del team, Spencer e Roderick, a cercare l' intransigente aiuto di Kitty per migliorare le loro mosse e rafforzare le loro probabilità di vittoria, e lasciando un gleek a decidere fino a che punto è disposto ad andare per una possibilità di vittoria. La preoccupazione di Sam e Kurt per la decisione incombente di Rachel di tornare a Broadway prima di aver completato il corso di laurea alla NYADA continua a crescere. Mentre tutti e due cercano di convincerla a completare gli studi, l'ex fiamma Jesse St. James fa una visita inaspettata - e una sorprendente ammissione - nel tentativo di convincerla ad accettare il lavoro. Nel frattempo, Sue rimane piena di sorprese quando il suo attacco a tutto campo a Will e al Glee Club raggiunge altezze fino ad ora non viste.

6x09 - Child Star - Sesta Stagione

Episodio caruccio. In effetti c'era il bisogno di caratterizzare un pochino i new newbies che finora, fortunatamente, erano stati utilizzati solo per qualche canzone senza dargli storyline che avrebbero sottratto tempo ai personaggi storici. La puntata è leggera e anche gradevole ma più di questo non posso elogiarla in quanto la mancanza del vero cast (non solo gli assenti Klaine ma anche gli altri che, tranne Sue, si sono visti poco) si sente e non la boccio solo perchè è stata una su 13 quindi ci può pure stare.

Farò un commento molto veloce perchè non ho tantissime cose da dire. Se non fosse che ormai ho commentato praticamente ogni episodio avrei anche saltato questa recensione ma non posso farlo proprio ora che siamo quasi alla fine, giusto?

L'episodio comincia nella palestra del McKinley dove alcuni ragazzi, alla presenza di Sue, devono fare ginnastica arrampicandosi su una corda. Prima cosa: io sono magra e non sono assolutamente capace di farlo. Forse dipende dal fatto che sono l'antisport per eccellenza ma non credo che la cosa sia semplicissima (Roderick a fine episodio ci riesce benissimo anche se prima a stento l'afferrava...). Comunque la storyline ovviamente è data a Roderick (a mio parere il più noioso dei newbies insieme a Jane, da me ora denominata la Marley nera che si veste come Rachel) il quale stringe un patto con Spencer che lo aiuterà a mettersi in forma (in cambio di una buona parola con un ragazzo). A fine episodio entrambi avranno quello che desiderano e Roderick in particolare comincerà a mangiare più sano (perchè ok, le prese in giro ai grassi non vanno bene ma non è che l'obesità sia una cosa da elogiare o comunque da sottovalutare. Non siete politically correct se lo fate, siete solo idioti. Infatti non condanno la scelta di Sue di combattere l'obesità al McKinley, condanno il modo barbaro e senza tatto in cui lo fa!).

La storyline di Spencer si riallaccia a quest'ultima e vede il ragazzo cotto del cugino di Stoner Bratt (o della versione brutta della Bestia umana, vedete voi quale definizione preferite). Siccome è idiota e il tipo lo ha capito, Spencer decide di aiutare Roderick per fargli poi mettere una buona parola (poi loro due litigano, poi fanno pace e altre cose che non mi va di commentare). Alla fine i due si mettono insieme durante una scena un po' strana in cui sto ragazzo, che poi si chiama Alistair (nome che mi ricorda quello della fumetteria dove vado spesso), suona l'ukulele, flirtano in modo imbarazzante e poi si baciano perchè siamo in Glee e non possiamo avere un episodio poco gay.

La terza storyline vede invece protagonista Mason. Il ragazzo vuole chiedere di uscire a Jane (e devo dire che è molto cucciolo mentre ci prova) ma viene sempre interrotto dalla gemella. I due litigano in mensa (e io voto come miglior personaggio dell'episodio il tipo in coda che si lamenta che non hanno rispettato la fila) perchè il ragazzo non vuole cantare assieme a lei e poi, non ho capito perchè, alla fine canta da solo attizzando tutte le ragazzine in crisi ormonale (mai quanto fece Sam usando Justin Bieber all'epoca della 2x13 e mai quanto avrebbe fatto Blaine con una qualsiasi canzone). I gemelli ovviamente fanno pace, Mason presumo cominci ad uscire con Jane e finisce tutto bene.

Mettendo da parte i new newbies parliamo ora di ciò che ha dato il titolo all'episodio: Myron Muskovitz. Il bambino (diciamo ragazzino, in fondo ha 13 anni) si scopre essere il nipote del sovrintendente per cui Sue ha una cotta e quindi la preside decide di accontentarlo in ogni modo per far colpo sull'uomo. Che dire di Myron... avete presente quando Mercedes nella 1x03 dice che i figli di Rachel e Kurt sarebbero stati rumorosi? Beh io credo che l'immagine che aveva in mente fosse proprio questa (atteggiamento da prima donna di Rachel, strappamento di vestiti per farne uscire altri alla Kurt), magari con un pizzico di Jesse St. James per come ha trattato le ballerine.
Sue ordina al glee di esibirsi al suo Bar Mitzvah (durante il quale alcuni invitati si scoprono ballerini professionisti) che si terrà nell'auditorium (dal quale spariscono magicamente le sedie per far posto a dei tavoli) e alla fine del quale Myron riesce a farsi ammettere al McKineley e alle Nuove Direzioni. Un po' assurda come cosa ma in fondo non quanto Blaine che ringiovanisce quindi ci può pure stare. Ho trovato simpatiche le scene tra lui e Kitty (lui piccolino si è preso un cotta xD) e in fondo è bravo davvero e loro avevano bisogno di gente quindi è solo una cosa a favore.

L'episodio finisce qui ma io ho ancora un paio di commenti random.
Prima cosa Will. Che cavolo ci fa Will perennemente nei corridoi del McKinley? Ok che non lavora ma perchè non ne cerca uno o, che so, sta un po' col figlio? Carina la scena in cui fanno le prove per l'esibizione e Rachel punta il dito tutta carina e fiera di se.

Ultima cosa i Klaine. I Klaine che non c'erano ma devono essere presenti nel mio commento perchè sì. La mancanza di Kurt e Blaine si sente e non si sente. Nel senso che se ci fossero stati comunque non avrebbero avuto spazio quindi tanto vale saperli in luna di miele. Immaginate le loro facce alla notizia dei nuovi arrivati (ricordiamolo, un bimbo di 13 anni e una specie di hippie)? Spero vivamente che nessuno *coff coff Rachel* li abbia disturbati per dirglielo!
Concludo quindi con una perla presa, ovviamente, dal nostro amato Tumblr "the things that kurt and blaine are doing right now are not allowed on fox. embrace the absence, people".

6x13 - Dreams Come True - Foto

Finalmente una scena Blam dopo una stagione in cui sembravano essersi scordati della loro amicizia! A cosa devo l'onore?

Comunque, guardando Rachel, la teoria dei 5 anni dopo e poi i 10 sembra giusta.
